Irmgard Stroud is a medical doctor and vivimancer active in Paladia after the war. She oversees Helena Marino’s recovery from containment and later leads the Central science and alchemy department, where she implements a sponsored birth program involving abuse and experimentation.

Sebastian Bayard is a paladin of the Order of the Eternal Flame and the uncle of Lila and Soren Bayard. He serves as Paladin Primary to Principate Apollo Holdfast and is later placed in reserve after being absent at the time of Apollo’s murder.

Atreus Ferron is the Iron Guildmaster of Paladia and patriarch of House Ferron. He is arrested and executed by the Eternal Flame for opposing the Holdfast regime. After death, Atreus returns as a lich inhabiting Jan Crowther’s body.

Erik Lancaster is a certified alchemist from a nickel guild family who is captured and tortured by the Eternal Flame during the war. After the war, he is named as a future member of the Undying.

Morrough, also known as Cetus, is an ancient necromancer who creates immortality through alchemical science and establishes the Undying. His return destabilises Paladia.

Ivy Purnell is an unusually young vivimancer whose abilities manifest during the war and who is used by the Eternal Flame in interrogations.
