Stellan is a skilled blacksmith from Nightfell and a survivor of the previous Questral. After taking in Aris Agron, he becomes her guardian and teaches her both weaponsmithing and combat.

Helmhawks are winged magical creatures found in Starside that once also lived in Stormside. Zane Sterling forms a connection with one during the Questral and later returns with the creature.
