The Attor was a sadistic faerie creature serving Amarantha during her reign over Prythian. Known for its leathery wings, sharp fangs, and cruel temperament, it acted as a messenger, enforcer, and interrogator under her command. After fleeing to Hybern, it aided the King’s schemes before ultimately being killed by Feyre during the attack on Velaris.

Naga

Naga are serpentine faeries in the A Court of Thorns and Roses series, characterized by dark scales, humanoid bodies, and powerful taloned arms. They hunt in coordinated packs and are commonly encountered in the deep forests of Prythian. Their features include amber eyes, razor-sharp teeth, and a forked silver tongue, giving them a distinct reptilian appearance.

The Book of Breathings is an ancient Cauldron-forged artifact composed of dark metal plates inscribed in the Holy Language, Leshon Hakodesh. Created to counter or command the Cauldron’s power, the Book can nullify its magic or allow complete control over it. Only beings who have been Made can activate its spells

The Suriel is an ancient, truth-bound faerie known for its vast knowledge and its inability to lie when captured. Older than Prythian itself, it roams the wilds, offering prophetic insight and magical truths to those who ensnare it, making it one of the series’ most mysterious and iconic beings.

Under The Mountain

Under the Mountain is the subterranean stronghold Amarantha claimed after seizing power from Prythian’s High Lords. Formerly a neutral meeting ground, it became the center of her rule, the place where she imprisoned the Courts, held her trials, and kept Tamlin’s curse in place until Feyre Archeron ultimately broke it.

Archeron’s Cottage

Feyre’s cottage is a small, gray-stone home on the outskirts of the mortal village near the Wall, where the Archeron family lived after losing their fortune. The cramped two-room cottage, marked with faded wards and reached by a simple road into the village, served as the family’s residence during their years of poverty.

The Middle

The Middle is a wild, unmapped region of Prythian filled with primal magic and dangerous faeries who fall under no High Lord’s rule. Its central landmark is the Sacred Mountain—later known as Under the Mountain—along with the Bog of Oorid, the Weaver’s cottage, and dense ancient forests.
