Biography
Narelle Anselm is the owner of Tomes and Tales, a bookshop in the market of Matyas, Deverelli. She was a trusted confidante of Asher Sorrengail and promised to safeguard his research until his daughter Violet was ready to receive it. Narelle last spoke with Asher during Violet’s relationship with Halden, when he confided his doubts about its future.
When Violet comes to claim the books, Narelle recalls Asher’s predictions and challenges her with three questions she must answer correctly to prove she is ready.
Physical Description
Narelle is a hunched elderly woman who uses a walking cane. She has silver hair, a round face marked with deep lines, and deep-brown eyes behind thick glasses. Her pert nose and frail frame contrast with her sharp presence.
