Biography
Rhiannon Matthias is a rider in the Riders Quadrant at Basgiath War College and one of Violet Sorrengail’s closest friends. Born into the Matthias family, she is the sister of Raegan Matthias and aunt to Lukas. She enters Basgiath in the same year as Violet and bonds with her dragon, Feirge, securing her place as a rider.
Rhiannon’s signet, Object Summoning, allows her to call objects to her hand. Through her talent, determination, and leadership qualities, she rises within her squad and is later promoted to Squad Leader of Second Squad, Flame Section.
In addition to her military role, Rhiannon provides Violet with loyalty and steadfast support. She becomes a core part of Violet’s found family at Basgiath, standing beside her during challenges, battles, and moments of personal growth. Across Fourth Wing, Iron Flame, and Onyx Storm, Rhiannon proves herself as both a capable rider and a trusted ally, strengthening her place as one of the series’ central supporting characters.
