Mira Sorrengail is the middle child of General Lilith and Lieutenant Colonel Asher Sorrengail, and the younger sister of Brennan and older sister of Violet. Unlike Violet, Mira was born strong, excelling quickly in the Riders Quadrant at Basgiath War College. By the time Violet enters Basgiath, Mira has already graduated, bonded with her dragon Teine, and serves as a First Lieutenant in Navarre’s army.
Mira’s signet, the ability to extend wards, makes her an invaluable defender against venin and gryphon riders. Loyal and pragmatic, she balances her military role with her protective instincts toward Violet, often acting as both mentor and shield. She gifts Violet the Dragonscale Corset, crafted from Teine’s scales, to give her sister a fighting chance at survival.
Throughout the events of Fourth Wing, Iron Flame, and Onyx Storm, Mira remains one of Violet’s most steadfast allies. She assists in battles against venin, supports Brennan’s rebellion, and becomes a bridge between duty to Navarre and loyalty to family.
