Biography
Marbh is an orange daggertail dragon in Rebecca Yarros’s Empyrean series. Bonded to Brennan Sorrengail, Marbh was believed to have died with his rider at the Battle of Aretia, but both survived and were hidden in caves by other dragons. He later reemerges in Iron Flame, where he watches over Andarna and supports Brennan during the Battle of Basgiath. In Onyx Storm, Marbh aids Brennan in rescuing Mira Sorrengail during the Battle of Draithus and helps escort Teine to safety.

Marbh is an orange daggertail dragon with golden eyes.
Powers and Abilities
Marbh channels inner power through Brennan Sorrengail, enabling the manifestation of Brennan’s signet: mending. Like other dragons, Marbh can breathe fire, fly, and fight with his daggertail, talons, and fangs. He is also capable of telepathic communication and rune sensing.
