Jesinia Neilwart

Biography

Jesinia Neilwart is a cadet of the Scribe Quadrant at Basgiath War College and a close friend of Violet Sorrengail. She grew up in Morraine Province and studied alongside Violet in preparation for the scribe entrance exam. Jesinia succeeds in joining the Scribe Quadrant and quickly distinguishes herself as one of the strongest in her year, pursuing the rigorous adept path.

At Basgiath, Jesinia Neilwart works in the Archives, supplying riders and professors with texts, managing scrolls, and assisting cadets with research. Despite the Scribes’ strict neutrality, she often bends rules to protect Violet, such as withholding record of her book requests. Her quiet rebellion expands in Iron Flame, when she secretly aids Violet’s research on the wards, trades books off the record, and develops coded methods of exchanging information.

Over time, Jesinia becomes disillusioned with the Navarrian regime and joins the Revolution. She relocates to Aretia, where she works with the allies to establish a printing press. Following the events of the Empyrean series, Jesinia rises to the position of Curator of the Scribe Quadrant, where she is responsible for translating the accounts of the rebellion from Old Lucerish into the modern tongue.
