Biography
Earl Lewellen rose to prominence after the Treaty of Aretia in 628 AU, when House Riorson lost its seat in the King’s Senarium and it was transferred to House Lewellen. Despite his new station, his loyalties quietly remained with the Riorson family and the Revolution. He also acted as guardian to Xaden Riorson and Liam Mairi, ensuring they were fostered and trained in the Riders Quadrant.
In Onyx Storm (635 AU), Lewellen is sanctioned for concealing the existence of Aretia from the rest of Navarre, and his title is reduced from Duke to Earl. During Senarium negotiations, he bargains to keep the Aretian riders stationed at Basgiath, demanding that Xaden be named the sixteenth Duke of Tyrrendor as the price for their continued loyalty. He succeeds in securing this recognition, strengthening both Xaden’s position and the Revolution’s influence.
