Biography
Breugan is an orange daggertail dragon bonded to Professor Carr in Rebecca Yarros’s Empyrean series. The dragon is first mentioned and seen in Iron Flame, flying with Carr, Violet Sorrengail, and Tairneanach into the mountains for training sessions to help Violet strengthen her lightning signet. Breugan is also present during the session when Vice-Commandant Varrish forces Violet to the brink of burnout as punishment.

A smaller-sized orange daggertail with a compact but lethal build.
Powers and Abilities
Like all dragons, Breugan can breathe fire and fight using their daggertail, talons, and fangs. Through their bond with Professor Carr, they channel the magic that manifests as his fire-wielding signet.
