Biography
Aura Beinhaven was a rider at Basgiath War College who bonded with a Red Clubtail dragon named Dagolh during her first year. In Fourth Wing, she initially served as a squad leader until Xaden Riorson reassigned her to Second Wing so Violet Sorrengail would fall directly under his command.
By Iron Flame, Aura had risen to the rank of senior wingleader of the Riders Quadrant. She openly clashed with other leaders, accusing Dain Aetos of lying about the Venin threat and even threatening him with a dagger during a heated argument. Fiercely loyal to Navarre, Aura remained committed to its cause despite the growing tensions at Basgiath.
In Onyx Storm, Aura was chosen as part of the original quest squad sent to Anca to locate the citrine, with Captain Grady leading the mission. During this operation, she was killed in a wyvern attack—the same mission where Captain Grady died after Aura Beinhaven accidentally turned her own fire-wielding signet against him.
