Biography
Aimsir was a brown dragon bonded to General Lilith Sorrengail in Rebecca Yarros’s Empyrean series. Their bond lasted for more than thirty years, making Aimsir one of the longest-serving dragons within the Navarrean army.
In Iron Flame, during the Battle of Basgiath, Lilith commanded Sloane Mairi to siphon both her own and Aimsir’s life energy into the wardstone in order to save Navarre. This act led to the deaths of both rider and dragon, ending their decades-long partnership.
Physical Description
Aimsir was a brown dragon with golden eyes, a typical but commanding presence among her kind.
Powers and Abilities
Like all dragons, Aimsir could breathe fire and fight using her claws, fangs, and tail. Through her bond with Lilith, she channeled the power that manifested as storm manipulation, the signet ability for which Lilith became known.
