Catriona “Cat” Cordella is a gryphon flier, the younger sister of Syrena Cordella, and niece of King Tecarus. Bonded with the gryphon Kiralair, she trained first at Cliffsbane before transferring to Basgiath War College.

Maren Zina is a gryphon flier from Draithus, bonded with Dajalair (“Daja”), and best friends with Catriona Cordella.

Drake Cordella is a gryphon flier from Poromiel and cousin to Syrena and Catriona Cordella.

Trager Karis is a gryphon rider in Fourth Wing, serving as the medic among the fliers.
