The Library beneath the House of Wind is a vast, multi-level sanctuary carved into the mountain’s core, serving as both a refuge and a research center for the Night Court. Run by priestesses who live and work within its spiraling levels, the Library houses countless shelves of books, quiet reading alcoves, and a deep central pit where the creature Bryaxis once dwelled.

The Moonstone Palace is Rhysand’s private residence high above the Court of Nightmares, carved entirely from moonstone and open to the mountain air. Its halls, verandas, and chambers serve as key meeting, living, and training spaces for the Night Court’s Inner Circle.

Hewn City

The Hewn City, also called the Court of Nightmares, is a subterranean metropolis carved into the mountains of the Night Court. It is home to the court’s most ruthless High Fae, ruled in name by Rhysand and governed in practice by Keir. The city serves as the political and cultural center of the Night Court’s darker faction and features heavily whenever negotiations, threats, or power struggles require Rhysand and his Inner Circle to descend into its domain.

Velaris

Velaris

Velaris is the hidden city of the Night Court, protected for centuries by powerful wards and ruled from the House of Wind. Built along the Sidra River and shielded from the outside world, it serves as the home of Rhysand, his Inner Circle, and the Court of Dreams.

The Town House

The Town House is Rhysand’s private residence in Velaris and the place where Feyre first lives after joining the Night Court. It serves as a central gathering point for the Inner Circle throughout A Court of Mist and Fury and A Court of Wings and Ruin, hosting strategy meetings, recovery after battles, and key moments for Feyre, Nesta, and Elain.

River House

River House

The River House is the primary residence of Rhysand, Feyre Archeron, and their family in Velaris. Built after the attack on the city, it serves as a safe and spacious home for the Inner Circle, offering room for strategy meetings, healing, and gatherings. Designed by Feyre and constructed along the Sidra River, the house becomes a central setting in A Court of Silver Flames, hosting Feyre, Rhys, Elain, Lucien, and frequent visits from the rest of the Inner Circle.

The Prison

The Prison

The Prison is an ancient, magically fortified mountain on an island in the Western Isles. It contains the most dangerous beings in Prythian. Originally the Dusk Court, it now falls under Night Court jurisdiction. Strong wards prevent escape and restrict access, while shadow-formed guardians oversee its inmates.

Tamlin’s Manor

The Spring Court Manor is the residence of the High Lord of the Spring Court, a grand estate surrounded by rolling green land and expansive forests. Known for its rose-covered exterior, marble interiors, and extensive gardens, it serves as a central setting throughout A Court of Thorns and Roses.

Spring Court

The Spring Court is one of Prythian’s seven courts, known for its green landscapes and close proximity to the Wall. It becomes central to multiple conflicts in the ACOTAR series, including Amarantha’s curse, Tamlin’s alliance with Hybern, and the eventual collapse and invasion of the Court.
