The Autumn Court is one of Prythian’s seven courts, known for its vivid forests, fertile valleys, and the sprawling Forest House where High Lord Beron rules. It is home to Lucien Vanserra’s family.

Under the Mountain is the subterranean stronghold Amarantha claimed after seizing power from Prythian’s High Lords. Formerly a neutral meeting ground, it became the center of her rule, the place where she imprisoned the Courts, held her trials, and kept Tamlin’s curse in place until Feyre Archeron ultimately broke it.

Feyre’s cottage is a small, gray-stone home on the outskirts of the mortal village near the Wall, where the Archeron family lived after losing their fortune. The cramped two-room cottage, marked with faded wards and reached by a simple road into the village, served as the family’s residence during their years of poverty.

The Middle is a wild, unmapped region of Prythian filled with primal magic and dangerous faeries who fall under no High Lord’s rule. Its central landmark is the Sacred Mountain—later known as Under the Mountain—along with the Bog of Oorid, the Weaver’s cottage, and dense ancient forests.

Hybern is a faerie kingdom located on an island west of Prythian, once ruled by a king whose regime sought to restore faerie dominance over mortals. The kingdom played a central role in the War against humans, and later attempted to shatter the Wall and reclaim mortal slavery through the restored Cauldron. Its isolation, poverty, and resentment fueled Hybern’s aggression, ultimately leading to a second war that ended with the deaths of its ruling family.

Windhaven is an Illyrian war-camp in the Night Court, located high in the cold, harsh mountains where generations of warriors have lived and trained. It is the place where Rhysand, Cassian, and Azriel grew up together, where Illyrian soldiers prepare for war.

The Illyrian Mountains are a remote northern mountain range in the Night Court, known for their harsh terrain, war-camps, and ancient traditions. The region is home to key Illyrian strongholds, including the training grounds used in preparation for the war against Hybern, the cave where Hybern’s soldiers captured and tortured Rhysand, and the sites where Feyre tracked and rescued him. The mountains also host the Illyrian Blood Rite, held around Mount Ramiel — a sacred peak marked by an ancient monolith.

The Cabin, also known as the House of Mist, is a secluded, warded retreat hidden deep in the Illyrian Mountains. Built as a simple, self-sustaining refuge that responds to magic, it provides a quiet sanctuary for members of the Night Court.

Illyria is the northern region of the Night Court. It is home to the Illyrian steppes and mountains, where multiple war-camps are established for training and living. The region also contains the Illyrian Mountains, including Mount Ramiel, where the Blood Rite takes place.

The Night Court is a vast, mountainous territory in northern Prythian, divided between the brutal Hewn City, known as the Court of Nightmares, and the hidden city of Velaris, the Court of Dreams. Ruled by High Lord Rhysand and High Lady Feyre Archeron, the Night Court is shaped by its long history, its powerful Inner Circle, and its contrasting cultures of darkness and secrecy versus creativity and peace. It serves as a central setting throughout the series, from political conflicts and alliances to battles against Hybern and the rebuilding that follows.
