Gwyneth Berdara is a High Fae priestess of the House of Wind library and a survivor of the Sangravah massacre. As a Valkyrie-in-training, she trains alongside Nesta and Emerie, gradually overcoming her trauma and becoming a skilled and determined warrior.

Emerie is an Illyrian female from the Windhaven camp and a member of the Valkyries. After surviving abuse from her father, who had her wings clipped, she inherits and runs his shop despite pressure from the camp’s males.

Cassian is an Illyrian-born warrior and the General of the Night Court’s armies. Raised in brutal poverty as a bastard, he forged himself into one of the most powerful fighters in Prythian and a core member of Rhysand’s Inner Circle.
