Biography / History
Cresseida, a princess of the Summer Court, survived Amarantha’s reign Under the Mountain alongside her High Lord, Tarquin. After the curse ended, she returned to Adriata and resumed her role within the court.
When Feyre, Rhysand, and Amren visited the Summer Court in search of their half of the Book of Breathings, Cresseida helped receive them at the palace. Cautious and politically aware, she warned Rhysand that keeping Feyre away from Tamlin could be interpreted as grounds for war. During their stay, she spoke frequently with Rhysand—who flirted with her to gather information about the Summer Court—though he never reciprocated her romantic interest.
Cresseida later supported Tarquin in attending the High Lords’ meeting in the Dawn Court. There, she became the first member of the Summer Court to publicly stand with Feyre, agreeing to unite their forces against Hybern.
She fought in the Summer Court’s defense during Hybern’s invasion and helped orchestrate a glamour to hide the movement of their armies to the Winter Court. On the eve of the final battle, she was responsible for caring for mortals evacuated to Adriata after Tarquin offered the city as a refuge.
After the War, Cresseida attended Feyre’s gathering to discuss the foundations of a new Treaty between mortals and Fae.

Cresseida is described as a strikingly beautiful High Fae with deep brown skin, long silver hair, and brown eyes.
