Location
The Spring Court Manor is the personal residence of the High Lord of the Spring Court. It sits on expansive, rolling green land within the heart of the territory, surrounded by the court’s lush forests and vibrant natural landscapes. The gardens extend to the edge of the Western Woods.
Description
The Spring Court Manor is a grand alabaster estate draped in roses and ivy, with balconies, patios, and staircases built into its elegant exterior. The grounds are surrounded by vast woods and include multiple gardens. These gardens include a large rose garden planted as a mating gift from Tamlin’s father to his mother.
Inside, the manor features black-and-white checkered marble floors, a sweeping staircase, countless doors, and bright rooms filled with flowers and natural light. It contains a study, private library, infirmary, gallery, and a marble and gold great hall used as a throne room.
The bedrooms reflect the personalities of their occupants. Feyre’s room is larger than her former cottage. It is decorated in pale green and gold with ivory furnishings and a towering bed draped in silk. Lucien’s room mirrors his affinity for autumn, furnished in shades of orange, red, and gold. There is also a worn worktable covered in weapons.
The estate also includes stables used by the fae and sentinels. There is also a second garden at the back of the manor that is even more expansive than the front grounds.
Description
| Feyre’s Bedroom | Feyre’s bedroom in Tamlin’s Manor is bigger than her whole cottage. The walls are a soft green, traced with fine gold designs, and the trim is also gilded. The room is filled with ivory-colored furniture and rugs, with a marble vanity and an enormous bed in matching shades. Curtains spill down from the windows in silk drapes edged with gold velvet. |

| Lucien’s Bedroom | Lucien’s room has the same overall layout as Feyre’s, but it’s dressed in shades of orange, red, and gold, with soft hints of green and brown — as if the whole space were carved out of an autumn forest. A battered worktable takes center stage, strewn with assorted weapons. |
| The Stables | The manor’s grounds include a set of stables where the fae and the court’s sentinels keep their horses.Feyre first visits the stables while searching for Lucien, hoping to convince him to help her persuade Tamlin to send her home to her family. After that, she returns to them many times during her walks around the estate. |
| Rose Garden | The Rose Garden had been planted by Tamlin’s father for his mother after their mating. It is filled with dozens of hues of crimson and pink and white and yellow. There is a fountain in the garden as well as a temple for the High Priestess. |
Relevance
The Spring Court manor is central to the history of Tamlin’s family. Five centuries before A Court of Thorns and Roses, Tamlin lived here with his parents and brothers, and it was the site of the attack where Rhysand and his father killed Tamlin’s family in retaliation for the murder of Rhys’s mother and sister.
In ACOTAR, Feyre is brought to the manor after killing Andras, fulfilling the Treaty’s terms. She lives there as a guest, spends daily meals with Tamlin and Lucien, uses the study and gallery Tamlin reopens for her, and experiences the manor under Tamlin’s glamour until she asks to see it clearly.
In ACOMAF, the manor remains Feyre’s home after the events Under the Mountain. She adjusts to her new High Fae strength, stays in her own room, and the manor hosts the Spring Court’s Tithe and Feyre and Tamlin’s interrupted wedding ceremony. Tamlin later traps Feyre inside the manor with magical wards for her “protection,” leading to Morrigan retrieving her at Alis’s request.
In ACOWAR, Feyre returns to the manor while posing as Tamlin’s loyal bride. She sees her old room overtaken by thorny vines and relocates to another wing. The manor also houses Hybern’s delegation—Jurian, Dagdan, and Brannagh—where Feyre blocks their attempts to enter minds using her daemati abilities.
