Location
The Day Court lies between the Night Court to the north and the Dawn Court to the south, occupying the central stretch of Prythian’s eastern territory.
Relevance
The Day Court was established when Prythian was divided into seven courts after the War and has long served as the center of magical knowledge in the realm. For centuries, the court maintained vast archives and thousands of libraries, preserving Prythian’s history and studies of magic. Much of this knowledge was later looted and destroyed under Amarantha’s occupation, during which the Day Court also suffered a significant loss of power.
The court openly rebelled against Amarantha, resulting in the death of its former High Lord before Helion Spell-Cleaver assumed leadership. After her defeat, the Day Court regained its autonomy. The territory is also the only known home of pegasi, which live exclusively within the Court.
