Dawn Court

Description

The Dawn Court is marked by a cobalt sky streaked with rose tones that linger well into the day, with soft clouds edged in golden light. The air carries a dewy freshness, and the landscape forms a lush countryside with the warmth of summer settled over it.

The territory contains small cities and villages known for tinkering, clockwork work, healing magic, and other skilled crafts. These settlements are characterized by red-roofed buildings and bright rivers that run through their streets.

Relevance

The Dawn Court was established when Prythian was divided into seven courts after the War. Its High Lord, Thesan, is known for “glowing the brightest” among the High Lords.

In A Court of Wings and Ruin, the Court becomes the neutral ground for a pivotal political gathering when Thesan hosts the Meeting of the High Lords. The meeting takes place in the palace hall located in Thesan’s territory, chosen for its openness, ample space, and the court’s reputation for diplomacy. All seven High Lords and their entourages assemble there to negotiate an alliance against Hybern.
